Transparency Dashboard [Updated 31st October 2022]
We started operations in June of 2022 with a handful of children, and over the last few months, we have seen children work together and build collaboration and communication as key strengths. We are now seeing groups setting up to do projects, and children take the lead to teach skills to each other. Students have learned the art of speaking, presenting their ideas, and thinking about solutions using critical thinking.
Our focus at the start was on only 4C's (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking), and now we are adding more skills from the 21st Century Skills.
In November, our focus is on specific skills, and we will monthly be working on one more of the 21st Century Skills. We are adding Media as a skill for November 2022, where we are encouraging students to use new-age media such as Youtube, Video Recording, and Editing to tell their Stories and STEM Skills that they work on.
We had a slow month for raising funds, and since the start of our operations, this is amongst our slowest months, pushing our operations back. Our Team is now on its feet, raising funds and working on the launch of our second nook.
This is our 3rd Transparency Report, and as we move along, we are making changes to how the report is presented from the feedback we hear from donors.
MakersBox Foundation is Transparent in its Fund Raise and Fund Spend. We ensure that 90% of our funds are used to impact beneficiaries, focusing on administrative expenses at less than 10% of all funds raised.

Engaging Projects
A Lot of the projects this month in October 2022, focussed on Diwali which is a big festival in India. The children across our Nook built lights, interactive installations, and projects related to diwali, including some artwork to beautify their spaces. Our Intention across October 2022, stayed on enabling our students to be able to present their ideas, speak about them and to explore a creative way of solving problems.
